Media Rotana welcomes Chef Alessandro Bertinettito helm the kitchenat Prego’s
(MENAFN- Rotana) Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 2022:The team at Prego’s welcomes Chef Alessandro Bertinetti to helm the kitchen of Media Rotana’s beloved Italian restaurant.
Born in Torino, Italy, Alessandro spent numerous hours in the kitchen as a child. Inspired by his twoGrandmothers who were experts in the cuisine of both Southern and Northern Italy, Alessandro knew from a very early age that his passion lays in the culinary business.
Graduating from a Catering School in Italy, he underwent internships in several Michelin-starred restaurants. Having spent the early years of his career in Northern Italy, he then moved to London, UK, for a job at La Petite Maison specializing in upscale French Mediterranean cuisine.
Alessandro’s career took him back to Italy in 2013 where he pursued a position as Sous Chef at Trattoria Zappatori in Pinerolo, which was awarded one Michelin Star in 2016.
Feeling the thirst for travel again, he then moved to Grano Restaurantin Bucharest, Romania, as a consultant after which, he made it to the Seychelles as the Executive Chef for the Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa.
Alessandro returned to Italy as Head Chef at Maison Flipot thereafter,and with his love to new adventures decided to follow his passion as Speciality Chef at Prego’s, Media Rotana, Dubai
