(MENAFN- GetNews) Echo HK's Fireside podcast and Palette project's“Meaning of Life” campaign results in over 1,000 responses from across the globe.

Echo HK, a Hong Kong-based high school student-led non-profit organization, announced that their podcast, Fireside, has reached the 10,000-listener threshold and their“Meaning of Life” campaign has received responses from more than 1,020 people from across the world. The two projects highlight the strength and success of the international program, led and directed by high school students at St. Paul's Co-Educational College in Hong Kong.

“We are thrilled to see the impact that we are making and to connect so many people from a diverse set of backgrounds together,” St. Paul's Co-Educational College Form 5 student and Founder and CEO of Echo HK Wendy Chong said.“I am very grateful for our amazing guests, team and everyone out there who has supported us. It has certainly been a wonderful experience interviewing and collecting stories for both our Fireside interviews and the Palette: 'Meaning of Life' project.”

Through the team's Fireside talk show, the group has heard stories from 37 guests from across the world since its launch in January 2021. The podcast focuses on their guests' stories and life experiences, using this medium to inspire and give advice to current high school students. Past guests of the show include Former Hong Kong Legislative Council President Mr. Tsang Yuk-sing, the General Manager of Ming Pao Publications, the Deputy Chief Editor of Joint Publishing and Former Vice-Chairman of the Arts Development Council, as well as doctors, lawyers and medical students from Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge and HKU. Each guest is chosen to help advise the students as they approach major life changes and decisions like graduation, college applications, self-exploration and job seeking. Episodes include languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

In addition to Fireside, Echo HK launched their“Meaning of Life” campaign in conjunction with their Palette project in April 2022. Through online promotion, the group conducted a simple survey with over 10,000 people raising one question:“What is the meaning of life to you?” The team received over 1,020 different responses in one week with those responding representing more than 100 countries on six continents. The group posted some of the most impactful responses on their social media accounts, including Instagram (@echohk_org).

Echo strives to be a novel network that uses social media as a medium of inspirational storytelling. For more information on Echo HK, or to check out their talk show, Fireside, visit .
