China urges G7 to not interfere in affairs of other nations

(MENAFN) China has responded to the G7's request that it end its support for Russia in the face of widespread Western penalties by stating that it determines its own position and strategy based on the “merits of the matter itself,” and that the seven associate nations must concentrate on their own matters rather than interfering in the internal affairs of other nations.

The declaration came after the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) nations, which include the United States, Germany, Italy, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Japan, issued a declaration on Saturday urging Beijing to "resolutely" urge Russia to end the conflict in Ukraine as well as to catchphrase from giving the Kremlin with economic and military aid. China should China “support the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine” as well as “urge Russia to stop its military aggression against Ukraine,” according to the organization.
