Bitcoin fails to bounce back above USD30K

(MENAFN) On Saturday, value of Bitcoin was facing issues to jump over USD30,000 as request in the cryptocurrency market remains to be weak.

Bitcoin, the world's largest crypto by market cap, was exchanging at USD29,060 at 1210 GMT for a day-to-day decrease of 4.7 percent.

The world's biggest altcoin Ethereum was struggling as well to reach over USD2,000, as it was exchanging at USD1,981 for a 5.7 percent day-to-day drop at the time.

Once-widespread cryptocurrency Luna witnessed its price plummeting to around USD0 on Friday, dropping from its top 10 spot in just a matter of days.

It increased 1500 percent to $0.00045 at the time, but its value was still far away from USD99.24 30 days ago.

Luna's brother TerraUSD, a steady coin suggested by UST that was intended to be pegged one-to-one with the US dollar, stood at USD0.2029 for a 17 percent rise.
