UAE’s telecoms operator e& record surge in net revenue of 3.6 percent
(MENAFN) The largest telecoms operator e& in the UAE registered a 3.6 per cent increase in the first three months’ net revenue reinforced by an expansion in the number of users.
According to the firm’s announcement on Monday to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, where its stocks are exchanged, net revenue related to the owners of the firm for the mentioned time span ended March 31 surged to Dh2.4 billion (USD653.3 million), in comparison with Dh2.3bn (USD626.19) in the corresponding time frame of the previous year.
Based on Hatem Dowidar, group chief executive of e& statement, "our first-quarter results are a testament to the effectiveness with which we have begun the new chapter of our journey as a global technology and investment conglomerate that digitally empowers societies."
