Kuwait, UAE alert nationals from visits to Ukraine
(MENAFN) On Saturday, the UAE embassy in Kiev released an alert urging nationals to eliminate going to Ukraine.
It advised Emirates’ nationals to delay any arrangements of travelling to Ukraine and given mobile number for those in the region to consult.
Likewise, Kuwait encouraged its nationals not to visit Ukraine and to depart the land if they were there already.
This arises following the United States’ warning issued on Friday; which implied that a Russian invasion might occur at any moment.
Following months of ramping up its military troops on Ukraine's borders -Jake Sullivan, US National Security Adviser, stated Russia had gotten to the stage where it might strike its bordering country in "a relatively near-term time frame."
