Central African Republic prime minister resigns

(MENAFN) On Monday, the Central African Republic appointed a new prime minister.

In a declared presidential command, signed by the country’s president Faustin Archange
Touadera; he stated "Mr. Felix Moloua is appointed prime minister, head of the government, as of February 7, 2022.”

Moloua was formerly the Minister of Economy, Planning, and Cooperation.

His promotion comes after Henri-Marie Dondra, who headed the administration for the previous eight months in a nation that has been ravaged by civil war for over than eight years, resigned.

Dondra's tenure was characterized by socioeconomic hardships. In a remark published on social media, he affirmed his departure and expressed gratitude for his replacement’s selection.
