Nepal expresses thanks to Qatari assistance in delivering aid to Afghanistan

Doha: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received on Tuesday a written message from HE Minister for Foreign Affairs of the federal Democratic Republic of Nepal Dr. Narayan Khadka, in which he expressed his country's appreciation for the efforts of the State of Qatar in facilitating the arrival of Nepalese humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
In the message, HE Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal expressed thanks and deep gratitude to HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and to the government of the State of Qatar for its generous cooperation and facilities to ensure the security and safety of the Nepalese humanitarian aid flight to Afghanistan recently.
His Excellency also expressed aspiration for more friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and to work closely together in the future.
He stressed that this initiative would not have taken place smoothly without the urgent cooperation and tight coordination from the State of Qatar and the Qatari individuals who coordinated on the ground.
His Excellency added that the Qatar Embassy in Kathmandu and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal Yousef bin Mohammed Al Hail were supportive and cooperating in coordinating with Doha. He expressed wholehearted thanks for helping Nepal become a part of the humanitarian work, which is a reflection of the close relations and cooperation between Nepal and the State of Qatar.
