Qatar provides financial support to Philippines to buy Covid-19 vaccines

Qatar, through the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), has provided financial support to the Philippines Government to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. 

QFFD has provided financial support to purchase 50,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine worth $450,000, as a continuation of Qatar's response to provide a wider access to Covid-19 vaccine. 

Qatar had recently sent 3.4 tonnes of medical aid which included 50 oxygen cylinders and medicines to tackle the pandemic. 

This urgent assistance provided by Qatar to brotherly and friendly countries comes within the framework of the efforts made to combat the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which poses a common threat to the whole world.
