Turkey takes 191,800 trademark applications last year
(MENAFN) In line with official records, The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (Turk Patent) took 191,779 trademark applications last year.
According to the Turk Patent information, of total, at least 176,493 of them were national trademark applications.
The figure of trademark applications rose 12.4 percent on an annual basis last year.
The office as well took 17,566 patent applications in 2021, decreasing 6.1 percent annually.
Sums of 4,490 utility models and 40,225 design applications were made amid January and December, while sums of 98.4 percent of utility models and 88.3 percent of the design applications were national.
