Parliamentary heads, speakers of Yemen, Mauritania, Pakistan, Comoros condemn Houthi attack on UAE

ABU DHABI, 21st January, 2022 (WAM) -- Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), received phone calls from Sultan Al Barakani, Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, and Cheikh Ould Baya, Speaker of the Mauritanian National Assembly, who expressed their condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi attack on civil areas and facilities in the UAE.

They also stressed the support of their parliaments for the UAE, and extended their condolences to the families of victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Moreover, Ghobash received a solidarity telegram from Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, expressing solidarity with the UAE's leadership, government and people in the aftermath of the Houthi attack.

Ghobash also received a telegram from Moustadroine Abdou, Speaker of the Assembly of the Union of the Comoros, who said that the Comoros Assembly condemns the attack.
