Iran’s transit of commodities jumps 53 percent

(MENAFN) According to the spokesperson of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) statement, commodities transit through Iran has increased 53 percent in the ninth month of the present Iranian calendar year (November 22-Decemebr 21, 2021), in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

Ruhollah Latifi stated that 1.057 million tons of commodities were transited through the nation in the seven-month time span.

Iran is one of the nations that have a unique rank in trade and transit ties because of its strategic place as well as distinct geography, as the nation is the route of various significant global corridors.

Towards the south of Iran is the Persian Gulf, which is home to the main oil-producing nations in the world. This area is regarded as the energy bottleneck of the globe.
