India - Delhi govt selects almost 1,000 students-led startups for Business Blasters programme round 2
New Delhi, 10 Jan (KNN) The Delhi government has selected almost 1,000 students-led startups out of 51,000 ideas through their 'Business Blasters' programme.
Of this, 100 startups will be selected for Round 3.
Manish Sisodia Deputy Chief Minister said that student entrepreneurs this programme will bring back the glory of India which was known as ''Sone Ki Chidiya” (Golden Bird) in the past.
Motivating students, he said that the startups will establish companies where students fr0m across the world will aspire to work.
The Business Blaster programme organised by the Delhi government is a large scale is school start-up initiative.
He emphasised on the population of youth in India contributing to the overall development the country.
“We need to eliminate the job seeking mindset fr0m the country's youth and inculcate entrepreneurship mindset in them,” he added.
