Jordan exports to Qatar stand at USD128.5b


(MENAFN) Jordan News Agency reported according to Planning and Statistics Authority, Jordan’s exports to Qatar worth stood at QR468m (USD128.5), whereas imports were valued at QR192m (USD52.7) during last year, accumulating trade surplus to QR276m (USD75.8) all for Jordan.

The data, gathered by Jordan News Agency, demonstrate that Jordan attained an exchange surplus with Qatar throughout the last four years, standing at QR898m (USD 246.6).

The mutual trade between the both nations rose over the years, pushed by the firm ties between Qatar and Jordan. The shared trade between the both nations is predicted to increase additionally in the next years.

Based on Qatar News Agency, the overall worth of Qatari investments in Jordanian Stock Exchange hit 601 million Jordanian dinars towards the end of September, which was the seventh-biggest investment in Jordanian shares, regarding possession of financial assets by nationality.
