Jordan - Police arrest suspect after gunfire exchange

Amman, Jan 5 (Petra) -- Police Wednesday arrested the main suspect of a shootout in Ajloun against police officers, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
The PSD said that police officers started a manhunt in the Ajloun forest where the suspects had taken refuge after the shootout and found the main suspect, who once again resisted the officers and opened by opening fire.
In the heat of the moment, the suspect shot himself in the foot, giving the police officers the chance to tackle bring him into custody.
