
Jordan - China: 20 officials charged with corruption
Beijing, Jan. 5 (Petra) -- China's strict anti-corruption campaign has knocked down more than 20 financial officials as authorities intensify inspections on the country's $54 trillion financial system.
Since the start of the campaign in October 12, which focused on financial institutions and regulatory departments, more than 24 officials had been either investigated or punished, according to announcements by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
