Qatar - SWBH launches Georgian cuisine

Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH), launched the first Georgian cuisine in Qatar located at Al Terrace restaurant at Al Mirqab Boutique Hotel, according to a statement.
Al Terrace restaurant will offer a varied menu that includes the most famous dishes from Georgia. Al Terrace Georgian restaurant is distinguished by its strategic location in Al-Mirqab Boutique Hotel, next to the Souq metro station.
'The Georgian cuisine is the most distinguished in Eastern Europe, as it is influenced by neighbouring countries such as Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Romania,' it was explained.
Al Terrace will provide its guests with food specialty, such as 'Khachapuri', a type of baked goods made in several ways, which differs from one region to another in Georgia as it is the most popular of all and a national symbol.
Al Terrace will also serve the renowned Georgian Khinkali, which is one of the favourite national dishes in Georgia, as it is very similar to the 'shish barak' known in the Middle East, and there are many types of it, some of which are stuffed with lamb, beef, vegetables, and mushrooms.
In addition, a variety of traditional dishes will be offered such as the Georgian shish kebab (Mtsvadi), the famous red bean dish (lobio), a wide assortment of salads, most of which are prepared with fresh ingredients, and many other delicious dishes. Al Terrace is open daily from 4pm to 11.30pm.
