Bangladesh, Turkey to start new stage in mutual ties


(MENAFN) Chief officials from Bangladesh and Turkey have made shared trips to each other's nations in spite of coronavirus pandemic marking the beginning of a new stage in mutual ties.

Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey’s Foreign Minister paid a trip to Bangladesh in December last year, while his Bangladeshi Partner A K Abdul Momen went on a tour to Turkey twice during the past two of months.

Momen reported to Anadolu Agency, “Bangladesh is now a lucrative destination for foreign investors as we have developed a very business-friendly environment in the country through various initiatives. Many Turkish investors are now interested in coming to Bangladesh to invest here.”

During his three-day trip to Turkey that ended formerly this week, Momen joined a roundtable talk in Ankara on the economic as well as political ties between Bangladesh and Turkey.
