Turkish coffee exports increase, as sent to 144 nations


(MENAFN) Turkey ships coffee to 144 nations, counting the US, Belarus, the Netherlands and Russia, as its exports reached USD65.5 million during the last five years and yearly coffee exports doubled this year as opposed to 2016.

In 2016, Turkish coffee exports stood at USD9.2 million, USD10.7 million in 2017, USD12.1 million in 2018, USD13.3 million in 2019 and USD20.2 million in 2020, while coffee exports summed USD18.7 million in January-October 2021 period.

Saudi Arabia was on of the main five last stop for the exports, then the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, followed by the Netherlands, US and Iraq from 2016 – 2019, while the US took the place of Russia last year.
