Ukraine collaborates with Apple to perform population census
(MENAFN) Ukraine intends to perform a population census in mutual work with Apple, tweeted President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and reported Ukrinform.
The president stated, “I am proud that Ukraine will be the second country in the world to conduct a census in collaboration with Apple.”
Zelensky also said that an essential Memorandum of Understanding was inked among the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and Apple on 30 November.
He highlighted, “Digitization is an unconditional priority for our state.”
The memorandum mentioned, “The company will support the Ministry of Digital Transformation in developing and identifying priority projects related to Ukraine's transition to paperless mode and improving the experience of citizens' interaction with public authorities. For example, Apple will provide support in the use and improvement of the Diia application based on the iOS operating system.”
