I am a Melbourne Enterprise Fellow (Associate Professor) with a focus on Integrative Environmental Research, which means working to increase the impact of environmental research into public value outcomes (i.e., policy, planning, management and regulation). I am a marine ecologist by trade and have worked in (and with) academia, government and industry in Australia and the USA, including more than 15 years in leadership roles in public sector science organisations. I am the current Chair of the Victorian Marine & Council Council - a Ministerial advisory committee appointed under the Marine & Coastal Act 2018.
