New cluster security manager named for three of R Hotels’ Dubai properties
(MENAFN- R Hotels) Vijil Velappan will head the security teams of The Retreat Palm Dubai, Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, and ibis Styles Jumeira
Dubai, UAE (November 22, 2021) – R Hotels announces the promotion of Vijil Velappan as the new cluster security manager of its three Dubai properties - The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel, Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, and ibis Styles Jumeira Dubai.
Prior to the promotion, he was the security manager at Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai. He also worked as an assistant safety and security manager, and hygiene officer at Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel in Abu Dhabi. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of safety and security in the UAE, and was a member of Indian Air Force security branch for more than 17 years.
Samir Arora, the cluster manager for the three properties, commented: “The teams at The Retreat Palm Dubai, Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, and ibis Styles Jumeira congratulate Vijil on his well-earned promotion.
