Business people from Iraq, Turkey meet in Istanbul to discuss economy


(MENAFN) On Friday, business people, contractors and industry envoys from Turkey and Iraq met in Istanbul to talk about urgent matters linked to Economy as well as trade.

The occasion was prepared by Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), held by Turkey's Trade Ministry, and backed by the Iraq Trade Chambers Federation (FCCI) along with Turkish Contractors Association (TMB).

Turkey’s trade minister, Mehmet Mus stated that economic collaboration between Turkey and Iraq is going to spread to other industries.

He expressed that Iraq is Turkey’s fourth-biggest trade associate, whereas Turkey is the third-biggest trade associate of Iraq.

He declared that turkey’s contractors finished plans in Iraq in spite of war-like circumstances.
