Philippines' banking system chief: Prices becoming 2022 main concern

(MENAFN) According to the director of the Philippines banking system, rising prices would become a larger danger to businesses during 2022 than coronavirus crisis.

The GDP of the Philippians would recover to normal rates by the middle of next year, Benjamin Diokno has reportedly stated.

He added: "We expect the economy to be back to where it was by the middle of next year, or even earlier.”

Due to Covid-19 epidemic the Philippines was among the most severely harmed countries in Southeast Asia.

Price increases, Mr Diokno added, will become a burden for Philippines, since they are for several other nations once they recover from the epidemic, while he anticipates the financial improvements throughout the coming months.
