N. Cyprus criticizes Greek Cypriot for arms program
(MENAFN) The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) slammed the arms program carried out by Greece Cypriot government.
According to a Foreign Ministry declaration, it was obvious that Greek Cypriot rose its army associations against the TRNC, and that it is buying drones and heavy weapons, as stressing that the Greek Cypriot government started the program for some time, regardless of knowing that it might trigger stress.
It added "The Greek Cypriot administration's continued armament and provocative activities to threaten our country serve no other purpose than to escalate tensions on the island and the region."
