Qatar takes part in India-GCC Business Conference


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Qatar participated in the India-GCC Business Conference, which was organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry within India's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Qatari delegation at the conference included Nasser bin Mohammed Al Muhannadi, Commissioner-General and Chairman of the Preparation Committee for Qatar's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, Abdulbasit Al Ajji, Assistant Chairman of the Preparation Committee for Qatar's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and Abby Chan, representing the Qatar Financial Centre.

Qatar's participation in the conference stems from the State's keenness to enhance trade, investment, and industrial relations between Qatar and India, as well as to further existing partnerships, and pave the way for new partnerships between the two countries.

Qatar is participating in Expo 2020 Dubai through a special pavilion that features several activities and events, which highlight the country's march towards achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030. 

The pavilion will also shed light on the mega and pioneering projects that have been completed to host the FIFA World Cup 2022. 

During the event, the Qatari pavilion will also provide a preview of the various incentives and investment opportunities provided by the State of Qatar to implement the country's economic diversification plans, as per the Qatar Second National Development Strategy 2018- 2022.
