UAE to welcome 20 unicorns by 2031
(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Nov. 10 Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and SMEs, Ahmad al-Falasi reported, the UAE seeks to turn into a hub for 20 startups valued for over USD1 billion individually, called “unicorns”, in the coming 10 years.
Falasi mentioned during the issuance of the Entrepreneurial Nation project in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates seeks to increase efforts to harden its stance as an important place for global investment in the Gulf region.
In the recent time, it has grown rivalry from Saudi Arabia, which has been pressing international companies and startups to put its money there and locate its HQ in the Saudi capital.
