Expo 2020 Dubai records 3 million visits
(MENAFN) According to a statement published on Monday, Expo 2020 Dubai has registered about 3 million trips since its launching on Oct. 1.
Organizers recorded 2,942,388 visits, of which 100,000 were pupils, with more and more students predicted to see the Expo place throughout the Knowledge and Learning Week to be held from Dec. 12-18.
Half-term and public vacations, such as the Prophet’s Mawlid on Oct. 21, also added to the occasion’s large visitor numbers.
Since its inaugural Expo 2020 Dubai celebrated UAE Flag Day and presented Diwali festivities, which included a strong performing line-up including India’s Salim and Sulaiman Merchant, as well as Bollywood playback singer Vipul Mehta.
