MUSCAT, OMAN, November 8, 2021 /EINPresswire.com / -- 8 projects claimed national honours at the 2021 MEED Projects Awards in association with Mashreq.

Among the standout projects recognized as the National Winner for the MEED Projects Awards in 2021 is the Liwa plastic industrial complex project submitted by OQ claiming the mantle for the Industrial Project of the Year and Mega Project of the Year. OQ's submission for the OQ LPG, Salalah, project also claimed the national prize for the Oil and Gas Project of the Year category.

Larsen & Toubro (Oman) LLC also submitted multiple projects that won national honours, namey the Sultan Qaboos Cancer Care and Research Centre for Healthcare Project of the Year and Construction of Ibri Solar Grid Station for the Power transmission distribution & substation Project of the Year.
