Turkey detains FETO suspect in attempt to reach Greece

(MENAFN) Security sources announced Turkey’s security troops detained an alleged member of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), which is the faction that was the reason of the beaten 2016 takeover effort, who wanted to unlawfully reach Greece.

The suspect, a fired tutor, has been arrested in a prohibited army region in the Ipsala area of Edirne and was then detained following being carried out to a local court.

The beaten takeover in July 15, 2016, when 251 people died and 2,734 wounded, was arranged by FETO and its US-based president Fetullah Gulen.

Ankara as well blames FETO for a long-running fight to coup the country through the access of Turkey’s organizations, mainly the armed, police, and courts.
