Dubai combines economy, tourism sectors
(MENAFN) On Saturday, November 6 Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, announced the merger of the sectors of Economy and Tourism and seeks to gain 25 million visitors by 2025.
The combined sector will seek to raise “the added value of the industrial sector, expand foreign trade and attract 25 million tourists in 2025", Sheikh bin Mohammed mentioned.
The director general of the recently-established sector is Helal Al Marri.
Government information from Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing showed, Dubai welcomed 2.85 million global overnight guests in the first seven months of the year.
UAE is one between a great number of countries internationally to roll out its economies and enterprises in July this year and remains to keep them opened, while confirming with health and security regulations.
