Turkish DM states he had 'positive' conference with Greek DM

(MENAFN) Turkish defense minister affirmed that his conference with his Greek complement in Brussels was “positive”, about a meeting of their NATO associates.

Hulusi Akar informed media "We had a positive and constructive meeting with the Greek defense minister (Nikos Panagiotopoulos)," "We expect to see the positive results of this meeting in the coming days."

Akar also restated that challenging actions and rhetoric, which ramp up stress amid both countries "would not be beneficial."

He added that as all three republics are members of NATO, alike associations loom to “harm both NATO and bilateral relations and undermine trust" on Greek defense deal with France that was attained on earlier September.
