Turkey takes over 136,600 trademark applications

(MENAFN) Official numbers shared showed that The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (Turk Patent) took 136,619 trademark requests during the January-September 2021 period.
According to the Turk Patent data, of total, over 125,000 of them were national trademark requests.
The number of trademark applications rose 17.3 percent on an annual basis during first three quarters.
The office took 11,848 patent applications in the first three quarters, decreasing 6.2 percent annually.
Data as well declared that sums of 3,222 utility models and 40,225 design applications were created in the same period, as 98.5 percent of usefulness models and 88.3 percent of the design applications were local.
