MENALAC to launch region's first-ever MENA Leisure Report Today

Debuting the first-ever issue of the MENA Leisure Report (MLR) is H.E. Hamad Buamim, President & CEO of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The MENA Leisure Report (MLR) features extensive overall data on every country in the MENA region, which includes macroeconomic and market overviews per country, detailed economic and demographic reports, leisure tourism and hospitality overviews and statistics, GDP analyses, the performance of existing leisure facilities and analytics, the contribution of the Leisure and Entertainment industry to each country's GDP, and a wealth of information covering multiple facets of both existing as well as budding mega-infrastructure and leisure projects that are underway.

The MLR's prestigious launch

MENALAC is debuting the MLR in style with a launch event on October 20.

As part of the launch, the Council is hosting a range of insightful talks. 

The seminar will kick off with a welcome note and reflections on the resilient Leisure & Amusement industry by Mishal Al Hokair, MENALAC's President and Deputy CEO & General Manager – Entertainment of the Al Hokair Group.

This will be followed by a panel discussion on The Status of the MENA Leisure & Attractions Industry featuring Jassim Al Qallaf, Business Development Manager, Play Enterprises – Kuwait, Mohamed Firdaus, General Manager, Loopagoon – Saudi Arabia, Anthony Bolsover, Sr. Manager – Rides Training & Compliance, Legoland – Dubai, and Mark Tucker, General Manager, Adventureland – UAE & Morocco. The panel will be moderated by Travis Kline, Regional Director of Operations, Whitewater.

Prakash Vivekanand, MENALAC Board Member & Managing Director of The Zone Amusement Arcade LLC will then host an MLR presentation before the seminar concludes with Q & As and a closing speech.
