Hamarneh named new JMI head
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 10 (Petra)-Board of Directors of Jordan Media Institute (JMI) decided to appoint Dr. Mustafa Hamarneh, as its new CEO, starting October 1.
Princess Rym Ali, the JMI's founder, wished Hamarneh success during his tenure, according to a press statement issued Sunday.
The statement added that Hamarneh has contributed to many research projects related to public policy affairs in the Middle East and North Africa, and has "extensive" management expertise, which would contribute to the JMI's new modernization drive.
JMI, an Amman-based independent, non-profit educational institution, seeks to develop the media workers' performance in Jordan and the Arab region, and provides training programs to future journalists. The institute also offers a Master's program in journalism and modern media in Arabic.
