UAE’s non-oil economy shows strong improvement on back of rising output

(MENAFN) According to the latest IHS Markit report, business conditions in the UAE’s non-oil economy indicated strong development on the back of rising output and orders.

The mentioned development is led by the ongoing World Expo in Dubai that supported revival in footfall and contracts, the report stated.

An economist at the London-based economic intelligence firm, David Owen declared that “With the Expo 2020 beginning, the UAE economy appears to be in a good shape.”

The UAE’s Purchasing Managers’ Index dropped to 53.3 in September, from 53.8 in August, it added.
