Israeli FM’s visit to Bahrain condemned by Iran

(MENAFN) On Saturday, Oct. 2 Tasnim news agency said in a report that Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has condemned Israeli foreign minister's latest visit to Bahrain.

Amir Abdollahian noted on Friday that the Bahraini administration's receiving of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid is "a blatant betrayal of the oppressed and resilient Palestinian people's cause."

He stated as cited that the existence of Israel in the region would lead to "insecurity for Bahrain and the entire region."

On Thursday, the visiting Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani jointly inaugurated the Israeli embassy in Bahrain’s capital of Manama.
