IIIT-Delhi Invites application for B.Tech. Admission 2021 through JAC Counselling


(MENAFN- Tyccommunication) New Delhi, 1st October 2021: IIIT-Delhi, India’s leading engineering & tech Institute, recently announced admissions to Undergraduate Programmes through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). The application form for JAC Delhi 2021 was made available on September 24, 2021, and prospective students have time until October 24, 2021, to apply for admissions.
To apply for B.Tech. Admission 2021 through JAC Counselling, candidates must have passed 10+2 conducted by CBSE, CISCE, or an equivalent board. Candidates must have also secured an aggregate of 70% or more in best-of-five subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and 70% in Mathematics. Candidates having JEE Main 2021 Rank (Paper I) will be eligible. Some relaxations are also given in percentage for reserved categories.
IIIT-Delhi is accepting admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (CSAM), Computer Science and Bio-Sciences (CSB), Computer Science and Social Sciences (CSSS), Computer Science and Design (CSD), and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CSAI) through JAC admissions process. With a team of over 100 faculty members and enthusiastic support staff, IIIT-Delhi promises to offer a comprehensive and global learning platform for aspiring students and future professionals.
IIIT-Delhi also encourages candidates having achievements in extra-curricular activities like Olympiads, Programming, NTSE, KVPY, Innovation, National Science Fair, Sports, Chess and culture. IIIT-Delhi awards up to 2 bonus points which upgrade the candidates ranking and increases the chances of getting a seat in IIIT-Delhi.
Fee waiver and various scholarships are also awarded to students of the lower-income group so that no deserving students are deprived of quality higher education.
IIIT-Delhi is one of the five premier institutions that will offer admissions to B.Tech. through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), which intends to minimize multiple admission counselling sessions. JAC will be conducted online with support from National Informatics Centre (NIC) and will offer admissions to students based on their rankings in Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).
