Dubai: With its continual celebration of different cultures from around the world, The Pointe, Nakheel's iconic waterfront destination on Palm Jumeirah, will honour Day of German Unity, also known as German National Day, with a stunning fountain display every hour from 8 pm to 11 pm on Sunday, 3 October.
Commemorating the German reunification in 1990, Day of German Unity symbolises the growth of the past 31 years of a united Germany, the realisation of the European idea and establishing a foundation that honours human rights, freedom and democracy.

The Palm Fountain will sway to 'Wind of Change' by popular German rock band Scorpions. The song will also be added to the fountain's yearly programme.

Transportation and parking
Visitors are encouraged to use taxis or free shuttle buses from Nakheel Mall to The Pointe, available every 20 minutes from 5 pm until midnight on 3 October. Limited parking at The Pointe is also available.
Free shuttle buses to The Pointe are also available across Palm Jumeirah hotels and residences and various locations in Al Barsha, Al Sufouh and Jumeirah Beach Residences.
Strict health and safety measures will be observed during the festivities. Social distancing markers are in place across The Pointe, and regular sanitisation will continue to take place throughout. All visitors must wear a mask.
