Hong Kong: Business environment stays positive, bouncing

(MENAFN) Hong Kong's business atmosphere stayed positive and bouncing with unlimited chances, stated Paul Chan, financial secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government, on Sunday, Sep. 26.

A fact sheet issued by China’s Foreign Ministry Friday, listing U.S. meddling in Hong Kong matters, demonstrated that the United States attempted to employ Hong Kong to inhibit the Chinese development, noted Chan in his blog.

According to Chan, the nationwide security law in the HKSAR helped regain social stability and security and the progress to Hong Kong's electoral system showed the realization of the principle of "patriots administering Hong Kong" institutionally.

The finance chief called on the United States and other nations to show consideration for the Chinese sovereignty, obey the basic norms of global ties, and not to interfere in Hong Kong matters.
