Turkey, Azerbaijan conduct shared military exercise
(MENAFN) On Monday, Sep. 20 Turkey’s and Azerbaijan’s forces conducted a joint military drill in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Region.
An Azerbaijani Defense Ministry report noted a group of Turkish soldiers reached the Nakhchivan exclave to participate in the Indestructible Brotherhood 2021 military exercise.
Turkey’s and Azerbaijan’s national anthems were played at the opening ceremonial with an exchange of flags. Following ceremonial, soldiers and armored vehicles to be utilized in the exercise departed for Nakhchivan.
Under the slogan “One nation, two states,” both countries share deep diplomatic, strategic, cultural, and military relations.
