Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index decreased 19.98 points from Monday's end of 1,474.72 points, opening the day at 1,474.09 points.
During the day, the index's lowest rate stood at 1,454.74 points, as its daily high amounted at 1,476.33 points.
With a daily trading rate of 12.4 billion Turkish liras (USD1.5 billion), the amount of market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD132.7 billion) by market close.
A total of 16 stocks on the index increased, 81 dropped, and three stayed unchanged in comparison to Monday's close.
