
World's first eco-friendly Smart Face Mask launched in Sri Lanka
(MENAFN- NewsIn.Asia) Colombo, July 20 (NewsWire) – Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa yesterday (19) launched the world's first eco-friendly Smart Face Mask under the 'BreathTech-S3' trademark at the National Sports Council premises, under the Sustainable production process.

The trio of Hirdaramani Group, Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) and CirQ Technologies are jointly contributing to the manufacturing process of this eco-friendly smart face mask.
BreathTech-S3 is manufactured using a combination of sustainably sourced, natural and biodegradable materials, and features an advanced graphene-based sensor (patent pending) that measures breathing rate, mask fit, CO2 build up and mask usage, all of which are accessible via a secure mobile app.
SLINTEC, Hirdaramani Group and CirQ Technologies have also taken steps to provide the Smart Mask to the Sri Lankan contingent to 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
