
Qatar Charity to accept donations for Udhiyah drive until 4th day of Eid
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Charity (QC) has announced that it will continue accepting donations for the Udhiyah ("sacrifice" in Arabic) drive until the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, corresponding to Dhul-Hijjah 13, 1442 AH. It is accepting donations of sacrificial meat through collection points located in malls and shopping centres across Qatar, as well as through the QC website and app.
Qatar Charity, through its Udhiyah drive launched under the theme *Delight them with your sacrifice, let the hope continue, aims to provide more than 63,000 Udhiyah in 33 African, Asian and European countries, including Qatar, where nearly 1.2mn people are expected to benefit from the Udhiyah project, with support from people in Qatar.
In a statement, the QC said it urges benefactors to contribute to the Udhiyah drive during these most blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah to maximise the number of beneficiaries, such as low-income families in Qatar and the poor, the needy, the displaced and refugees outside the country.
