Members of Communist Party of China exceed 95M
(MENAFN)According to the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, The Communist Party of China (CPC) has 95.148 million members in 5th of June.
In a report, the department stated ahead of the CPC's centenary on 1st of July that the number increased 3.5 percent from the number registered at the end of 2019, and approximately 20 times up from the number in 1949 when the People's Republic of China (PRC) was originated.
The CPC had over 50 members in 1921 when it was originated.
In addition, the statement read that nearly 2.31 million people enrolled in the CPC in the first six months of 2021.
It also added "The continuous increase of members has shown the strong vitality of the Party and the prosperity of the Party's cause."
