Football: Afghan Women Beat Tajikistan 1-0 in CAFA Championship
(MENAFN- Daily Outlook Afghanistan)Afghanistan's U-20 national football team beat Tajikistan 1-0 on Saturday night in the U-20 Women’s Championship 2021 in Dushanbe. The competition is run by the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA).
Afghan striker Zahra Foladi scored the one goal that won the match in the 17th minute.
Afghanistan lost its first match in the tournament 11-0 to Uzbekistan.
The Afghan team will face Iran on Monday in its third match of the tournament.
The tournament started in Dushanbe on June 9 and will end on June 18.
Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan are participating.
The CAFA Junior Championship is an international football competition in Central Asia for member nations of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA). (TOLO News)
