Qatar Foundation for Social Work, Qatar Charity to boost cooperation


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Qatar Foundation for Social Work and Qatar Charity recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of social and humanitarian works and community services.

The MoU facilitates that Qatar Charity will provide help to the needy groups through social centers that falls under the umbrella of the Foundation. The MoU will also facilitate cooperation in the field of exchanging data, information or reports related to the target groups and in line with the objectives of this agreement.

The MoU was signed by Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, and Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, in the presence of a number of officials from the two institutions.

In regard to the MoU, Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, expressed his happiness for reaching this agreement with the Foundation. 'We in Qatar Charity feel proud to sign this memorandum, which aims to serve the Qatari community, as Qatar Charity and the Qatar Foundation for Social Work are serving for common goals and target groups.”

He added that one of the strategic directions of Qatar Charity is to help others by harnessing all its capabilities to build a better society, and there is no doubt that cooperation with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work in this field will contribute to achieving this goal.

For his part, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Kuwari said, 'Qatar Foundation for Social Work is keen to open new horizons of cooperation with local partners, and we are happy to sign this memorandum with Qatar Charity, which has a remarkable role in humanitarian and social work and significant contribution to local society. The common goal that the two organisations share is based on serving the society and empowering individuals and families in Qatar, and we both work to support the less fortunate and provide them with full support and assistance they need.”
