Cabinet approves draft law regulating unmanned aircraft
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani chaired the Cabinet meeting at its headquarters in Amiri Diwan today.
The Council of Ministers approved the draft law has been prepared to regulate all activities related to drones in order to maintain the security and safety of air navigation in the country, protect lives and property, ensure the optimal use of these aircraft, in accordance with the best international standards and practices, reduce risks arising from the operation of drones, and define the responsibilities of the concerned authorities in this regard, and the regulation of the use of drones by various authorities.
