APACD/Ruder Finn Launch Landmark Survey Of Asia-Pacific In-House Comms Pros

(MENAFN- PRovoke) The Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors is partnering with Ruder Finn Asia to launch a survey that benchmarks and examines key data impacting the careers, spending plans and strategic priorities of in-house communications directors in the Asia-Pacific region.

The 2021 Communications Index aims to uncover critical 'real world' insights on such areas as salaries, investment and staffing, to help in-house communicators better navigate the fast-changing demands of the critical role.

"After a year in which the communications function demonstrated its value like never before, the Communications Index will help our members better understand and navigate the issues and trends that are shaping their fast-changing roles,' said APACD president Azmar Sukandar. "At APACD, our mission is to advance the Asia-Pacific in-house communications profession, and the insights from this study will deliver the kind of intellectual leadership that benefits and progresses our membership."

Accordingly, the survey will focus on such areas as priorities and planning, investment plans, compensation, agency support and career challenges. The 10-minute survey can be accessed here , but is only open to in-house communications executives in the Asia-Pacific region.

"By undertaking this study, we hope to give you valuable data which will allow you to benchmark a range of factors against your company and the industry in Asia-Pacific," said Ruder Finn EVP Charles Lankester. "This should give you greater leverage and better data as you undertake your own negotiations within your organisation and with your external consultancies. The study also asks some fun questions which we hope you will enjoy!"

Survey results will be published via APACD and PRovoke, and also shared with members via an interactive panel discussion later this year. The deadline to take the survey is 7 May 2021.
