Turkey's benchmark stock index falls 0.62 percent on Monday
(MENAFN)On Monday, Turkey's benchmark stock index fell 0.62 percent to close at 1,550.61 points.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 9.73 points from 1,560.34 points at the earlier close, opening the week at 1,566.39 points.
The index averaged amid 1,547.61 and 1,569.84 points, 36 stocks on the index increased, 62 dropped, and two were flat in comparison with Friday's close.
The amount of market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 1.2 trillion Turkish liras (USD168.5 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 34.3 billion Turkish liras (USD4.9 billion).
